You could try the ketogenic diet. You should be able to shed 10 lbs. in a couple of weeks. Granted, the first weight lost will be water weight, but your body will start to burn stored fat, not sugar (in all it's forms).
When you wake up your body needs to eat, if you eat something it is happy, if you don't eat or drink anything - it will start eating itself. Don't eat until noon, no cheating, just a little bite is all it needs and it will quit eating your stored fat. Drink tea, no sugar.
This works like a dream, when I wake up I just get busy on the internet or cleaning, anything to distract me.
