I am an 8 cup a day green tea drinker and have been for years and years and years. Now that I'm taking MMS, I see that I cannot drink my tea. I'm at a loss for what to drink. I can't have coffee, and my OJ is out the door too. I refuse to drink soda pop and water all day, every day just gets old. I love my warm cup in my hands, and that snuggly feeling a warm cup of tea gives me. Of all the parts of this, MMS thing, this is my stumbling block.
I did the test on a few different herb teas I bought and all failed. Does anyone know of a brand name tea or hot drink I can drink without harming the efforts of MMS Protocols?
I really need my tea or coffee, is there any help out there for this old teetotaller who only drinks her wine on the holy day.

Bea, I would think you would be getting plenty to drink while ingesting MMS1 eight times each day! That should be about 1 quart of water added to those 8 doses. If you want to drink tea, there may be some herbal teas that are low in antioxidants.

I just checked the Carlsen antioxidant list of foods, herbs, etc and I did not find any herb that I would consider low enough in antioxidants that you could take while dosing MMS1. One hour after your last MMS dose of the day, you can eat and drink most anything. The effects of those foods and drinks should be gone from your body by the time you start dosing MMS1 the next day.

Distilled water with a few drops of SweetLeaf Brand SteviaClear flavor Stevia would be okay. Sound tasty? :)

Yes, indeed, I am hydrated but comforted... not so much. I drink my tea as comfort and as a way to relax this world off of me. I live by the idea of quality vs quantity and no soothing, comforting drink in my day makes for a wasted day, and I'm not having quality of life.
I am so grateful for MMS1 and the life research so many have given to this cause and healing aid. in my life because without it, the quality of my life was very poor. Perhaps that is how my tea became such a comfort? I'm a language coach, not a teacher but a pointer, and having and serving a warm cup of tea or cocoa or coffee with my quests, is just part of the intimate relationship builder.
The apple question has also bothered me. I understand that an apple draws to it and absorbs the oxygen out of the CDS which, in case of overdose, neutralized if well chewed into small little sponges. What about apple? That too has to be a no no. And potatoes with dinner? Any parent will want to know what to feed their child so that their child is satisfied but still reaping the benefits of the treatment.
There is so much information on the making/preparing, and the schedule, and protocols but I'm seeing a frightful lack wisdom of how to work this into your life with confidence that you are not reducing the effects... or in my case with the tea need... not being ignorant of what is good and what is not good to eat or drink. The information is cold, hard facts but it offers nothing to build confidence in LIVING it. I have wonderful willpower, and I can fast for 50 days drinking only water 6 days a week and on the 7th only some wine and bread so doing without is not a problem when the need is there. But life is meant to be LIVED WELL not just be a slave to medical mechanics without comforting caregiving.
Sacrifice, IMO, is a red flag that this is close right, or temporaily good, but just not the best right and the best right is still out there to seek out.
So much today is antioxidant and we know what IS antioxidant but not so much about what is not. But the MMS, CDS, and CDH has little info on its relationship to food and drink: it is as if we can just live on MMS1! No milk, no Vitamin C fruit drinks which is 99% of all fruit drinks, no coffee, tea, or chocolate, you can have soda pop which should never be introduces as an option unless you are seeing the MMS1 as LIFE itself, and we can have flat water or soda water that is also not a good thing to drink that much of. And no alcohol, which means a small glass of wine or a beer is out? Or does that mean you can have a small bit?. Why not just say the water intake you have taking MMS1 or CDS is all you get? When that is said, now the person must think, "well what about eating? What foods are to be avoided so that I reach the health I need so I can begin to live again? Are too many antioxidant foods harmful to a healthy person if the gentle oxide of MMS1 is so helpful to a compromised body?
I'm a neubie so these question are fresh nd hard shouting in my life now and the only way I can rest will be to find out as much as I can about LIVING with the protocols inside a happy marriage of the two.
As always... you are a wonderful blessing to my life and the lives of everyone here in this forum

Bea, eating and drinking when taking MMS is not that difficult.

You can eat snacks between doses of MMS as long as they are not high in antioxidants.

No, you can not drink anything with high amounts of antioxidants which includes coffee and tea. Sorry about that.

The good news is one hour after you last MMS dose of the day, you can binge on all those forbidden fruits listed above!

See how simple that was!

Now, back to MMS dosing.

Where did you find that info regarding apples and CDS?

The following I posted recently and it might help you with choosing foods low in antioxidants.

Antioxidants.
Taking antioxidant numbers from the table (Antioxidant_Food_Table-Carlsen_et_al. 2010.pdf) for apples, lemon juice and oranges, I would say any food, fruit, herb, etc that is under 0.10 mmol/100g antioxidant content would be okay to use and not cause any significant reduction of chlorine dioxide (CLO2) in MMS. Of course, it depends on the quantity you consume.

Apples (whole) = 0.42 mmol/100g (average of 13)
Apples (without peel) = 0.09 mmol/100g (average of 2)
Lemon juice = 0.33 mmol/100g
Oranges (whole) = 1.0 mmol/100g

It is said that a slice of apple is okay to use with MMS, but note the difference between whole apples and apples without the skin (peel). I would peel the skin off when eating an apple slice.

Jim says not to eat oranges which come in at 1.0 mmol/100g.

Lemon juice can be used to slightly activate MMS, but lemon juice will also reduce CLO2 content in MMS1 as I have found when testing lemon juice. That seems strange because lemon juice will activate MMS to a small degree, but it also reduces CLO2 content at the same time! That is probably why lemon juice activates MMS so little as you can see on the MMS activation vs time chart.

Thank you. I do sound ignorant don't I but I am. I'm trying to understand. I do have some nutriention education behind me from caring for my mom through her burden. I understand the concept of the effect wearing off in 1 hour but are we not trying to maintain a saturation level and not let it tail off. All fruit has antioxidants, some like pomegranate are power houses. All fruit has come Vitamin C and again some are power houses. So... it seems to me that a healthy diet will actually defeat, ok not defeat but limit the effects. I don't do junk food, and I don't snack. I eat 2 meals a day and most came to be "my meals" from the information I gained about healthy eating.
The point is... a steady saturation of CDS in the blood stream will reduce naturally over the course of 1-2 hours. And if you eat or drink anything not processed/refined, and you eat healthy the saturation level has to fail even quicker. So, I'm probably over thinking it and going too far off the field but every meal you eat during the day, you have naturally reduced the saturation level and are starting over. So why have such a strict every hour protocol to maintain the saturation when, I think, it will be ruined at least twice a day anyway. Topical MMS1 seems to me to be the best transport method? No disrespect here. I am confused and new to this. But when I can't explain to people what they can eat or drink to "help" keep the saturation level, and I can't find that information. I see a hole big enough to drive a truck through. Modern medicine has just begun to realize that eating and drinking is a HUGE part of patient recovery... not just the pill. That, IMO, has not be worked out as clearly as I need it to be to support this enough to tell people about how easy it is. They will say "Can I...?" and I will have to say I don't know. So for right now, I can't share my good news with even my kids. The must be a list, like you would get from your GP or nurse nutrionalist, listing the good foods and the foods to avoid. Right now, the foods to avoid are the good food? Again, I know I'm skewed but I'm digging into area that I'm not finding the answers. Just to show you how ignorant I am to this whole thing, I still don't understand the difference between CDS and CDH? Tomorrow I will dig into that.
Thank you for being so patient with me. I need to slow down but patience is something I struggle with. I want to KNOW ALL OF IT NOW! ; )

Apples are the antidote in case of an overdose. I was told that the apple browns quickly in the air, like the potatoe, and that discoloration is what we see that shows us that it is the best candidate to use in case of overdose. It acts like a sponge and will pull apart the CD in the blood and gut through that same oxidation we see when the apple turns brown in the air? That's what I was told by another MMS1 users when I asked before I purchases our first kit.

From Jim's book:

If you take too much MMS1 and have a serious Herxheimer reaction, (nausea, vomiting, excessive diarrhea) take Vitamin C as an antidote. Take 2 grams (2,000 mg) of Vitamin C at once. If the symptoms persist, you can then take another 1 gram of Vitamin C the following hour, and another 1 gram the third hour. Do not go over this amount of Vitamin C. Two other options to use as an antidote would be: Eat a fresh apple. Do not bite and swallow, this must be chewed very well. Or take 1 level teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in 1/4 of a cup (2 fluid ounces/60 ml) of water. Drink a few more sips of plain water after this if desired.

Here Jim offers three fixes when you OD on MMS. I agree on two of them, but not necessarily the apple one. As I quoted from the Carlsen Antioxidant table above;

Apples (whole) = 0.42 mmol/100g (average of 13)
Apples (without peel) = 0.09 mmol/100g (average of 2)

Apples, even with the skin on, are not very high in antioxidants. Perhaps they work in a different way than just provide antioxidants when trying to reduce CLO2 in a body. Of course, baking soda (??? mmol/100g) and Vitamin-C (1020 mmol/100g) are very high in antioxidants.

OK... I got 36 hours of not stop reading and noting behind me.
Quick question... would Almond milk, I make my own usually, be in the same thinking box with cow/mammal milk? when discussing MMS1 and CDS and what to avoid? I write this as I have my apple sauce full of psyllium fiber. Glad that is off the table for me, thanks to your chart comparison.
So, CDS uses a reactor vessel to hold (shot glass, votive candle glass, or bottle cap) the MMS and the acid while the work/activate, NEVER coming in contact with the water themselves but off gassing the CLO2 into the water as it sits quietly in a cool dark place for 12-16 hours.
Now, CDH does NOT use a reactor vessel. All the ingredients are combined into the water WITHOUT activating the MMS/ACID. This too sits for 12-16 hours in a quiet, cool, dark place.
What does the H stand for? Is it for the HCL? I have bottles of citric acid and have not tried the HCL yet.
The 50% citric acid and the HCL a question I don't know and can't find the answer to. Is the 50% citric acid more closely related to the 4% HCL or the 10% HCL. Like your website states, I can get 4%HCL without bother but the 10% I would have to go through our friend who owns a pool/spa business. He also mentioned that there is talk about adding an horrible taste ingredient to pool shock so people can't ingest it.? Like the laundry pods, and ethanol gasoline, which is basically moon shine. He has also gotten news that the sodium chlorite is being phased out and will so be in short supply. There is a waiting time even for him to get it now. I saw on Amazon that it has been pulled off. I also saw a warning on a MMS seller's page the people are ordering sodium chloRITE from outside the USA and are getting sodium chloRATE in its place, with the label saying its chlorite! I don't know and cannot site any of this info but I do trust my friend because he is a true friend and has no problem with our taking of the MMS. He won't but to each his own he says.
Again, thank you for keeping me well feed. You website is fantastic. In Mr. Humble's First Edition of 2016, his latest release, He writes under the My Personal Conclusion on MMS1, CDS and CDH heading... and I will not quote but he says that some say the advantage in CDS is that it does NOT contain UN-ACTIVATE sodium chlorite but he believes this is a DIS-ADVANTAGE. What do you think he is saying here? Why would I want some un-activated sodium chlorite IN me? Is it so my stomach acid can make more or is there more to this than just maybe making more CLO2 internally?

I did an eye wash yesterday and last night, and took my first dose of CDS instead of MMS1 drops. My eye with the itch and crawlies PUFFED closed and teared profusely. The tear was think, muscus strands to start and then as early morning began, the tear became more tear-like but still was white as it dried on my skin and lashes. Now, the tearing has stopped and the black lines or floaters that began during this illness are GONE! Those long webs of yuck were, well, yucky! I could actually see a coating on the white of my eye lifting off of it this morning. My husband was shocked to see me this morning but I feel good, or my eyes feel great. The contract of white and black is dazzling. I haven't seen that in almost 20 years. I think when I take my MMS1 tubby, and submerse my whole body except my nose and my eyes along with my nose, I think that the bugs got into my eyes? Perhaps they just use the super highway of ears, nose and throat too? Regardless, that was quiet amazing. I did not expect that.
Blessing to you always... you have wings.
